- My passions are art, music and dogs. I grew up in Kings Mountain, NC. attended N.C. School of the Arts, SVA in Savannah (no longer there - ask me about it sometime...) and finished up at San Francisco Art Institute. Lived in Charleston, SC; Nashville, TN and now reside in Athens, GA.

I stumbled across your blog when googling "fake shutters." I love that you want to remodel this little gem of a home. And am so glad you took down those fake shutters! The new sconces look fabulous. Best of luck to you with your remodel.
